The Kittens Are Here!

Gnaeus and Pompey have arrived. All cooing under the LJ cut.
They are tiny and fluffy and faboo. Sophie keeps calling to see how they are doing, and I am happy to say they no longer jump at the sound of the phone.
So I went to collect my two little kitten-dudes this afternoon.
This is Gnaeus

And here is Pompey

Gnaeus is the more outgoing of the two; Pompey is looking a little pissy because I finally forced him to come out of the cat carrier and explore. He had been content to squat in there and have things brought to him:

But, he was named after a Roman general, not some degenerate Roman emperor, so he was made to be brave.
All of this was very exhausting, and inevitably led to the wonderful delight that is a sleepy snoozy kitten pile:

They are a little guarded around Sebi (wise of them) but Sebi seems to care less about them. In the following image, Sebi can be quoted as thinking "Yes, yes - whatever. They're not eating that food you put out for them...can I? Please?

Sebi did manage to secure the entire remainder of *the can* when I was busy ...well...hearding cats.
