Didn't we just do this?

Stay safe, [profile] gryffinjack

And here in California we are having an unusually cold spring.  And it seems Krakatoa is *rebuilding*.  The Earth is still ahead, it would seem.

Thanks, Xtine, but I'm perfectly safe. I live on the Eastern coast of South Florida and the forecast path is for Central to Northern Florida. All we are getting is some rain and wind, no big deal. We've had this type of storm plenty of times and the weathermen would barely even mention it. But now, after such devastating storms as Andrew and more recently Katrina, Rita, and Wilma, it's got ridiculous. Nowadays, for a storm that we are not even going to get other than some rain and wind, the weathermen are breaking into programming every hour on the hour making it sound like this is a category five hurricane. Utterly ridiculous!

Well, now the storm is up to 70 m.p.h. and there are hurricane warnings up on the west coast. However, the path is still well away from us. But of course we are keeping an eye on the storm in case it changes direction.
