As usual, thank you Christopher Hitchens. (a href="http://www.opinionjournal.com/extra/?id=110006649")So refreshing to remind the masses that an R does not always stand for 'Rabid opiniated egocentric elitist with No Real Understanding of what a Republican stands for'.(/a) The true original calling of the Republicans - as Lincoln and his fellows intended it - was to honor and respect the free will of all people. But then, all political parties suffer when hyjacked by the demagogs who insist that "what that REALLY means is".

And on a lighter note - thank goodness Scotty 'the Body' Savol is off AI. Yes, he could occasionally sing well. But his highly objectionable personality was always my problem with this one. Oh, and extreemly caucasian mid-westerners stiking poses and going on about homies doesn't always sit well with me either. Then again, I respect his right to express himself that way. Just won't be voting for him is all I'm saying.
