Tricksy Corporate Sponsorships
May. 19th, 2006 11:31 amTicketmaster sent me an alert today that amused me no end:

Sometimes, my juvenille side wins, what can I say? I was relieved when McAfee bought the naming rights to the coliseum where the Oakland A's play, becuase it was owned by Network Associates previously and everyone called it - yes you guessed it - Net Ass *sporfle* .
The real question of the day is, however, will I actually *go* to the AI show for the sheer kitch of the experience? A friend and I went to see Kelly Clarkson & Clay Aiken in concert a while ago and frankly it was very entertaining - and the singers were good too. I can feel 'vindicated' becuase I'm going to see the Arctic Monkeys on the 31st, and therefore am not lost to total uncool insanity, yes? And I'm pretty sure Tori & I are going to see the Original Pop Tart Madonna for our Bday celebration as well : ). Yes, we are both of the age where going to see Madonna is both nostalgic and inspiring that she can still move like that.
