Why PoMoMythos, you ask? The Mythos of our Post Modern world amuses me endlessly. Rather, I laugh so I will not cry and all of that.

But more importantly at this moment - Mincot, this background is *hideous* and not the blue I asked for. Why is it defying me so? It knows my voting registration, doesn't it - it's a plot! The vast LJ conspiracy!

(Couldn't resist - what's the point of having a public journal if you can't rant with little sense and understanding of facts?)

I'm only in it for the Icons

I am supposed to be cleaning and working on a presentation I have to give on Monday. Right. Considering the topic of the presentaion is all about accounting standards for opening hospitals, you can see why I am insteady toying with this. Not that opening hospitals isn't important; actually it is very exciting. Only lecturing grownups on how to post charges onto the General Ledger, and what is allowed and what is not, is rather dry. (Buying bandages for the operating room? Good. Buying a new chair for your office because you think it's pretty? Bad. Not rocket science!)

I'll have to figure out how to put up a link to the page where you can watch the live web-cam of my new hosptial being built. Don't laugh! It is so interesting! Well, don't stare at it all day or anything. Unless, of course, you want to watch the welders and electritions working. Free country and all that.

But, the real reason I am playing is of course to verify my icons work.
